1. Introduction and Scope

Welcome to Handiers Pro (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to professional users (“Pros”) who use the Handiers Pro App and platform to manage profiles, communicate with customers, and promote their services. By using Handiers Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Registration

To use Handiers Pro, you must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to perform the services you advertise. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, including your name, contact details, and service specialties. You are responsible for maintaining your account security and for all activity conducted under your account.

3. Description of Services

Handiers Pro allows Pros to:

  • Create and manage business profiles and portfolios.
  • Communicate with customers through chat, call, and SMS (via Twilio).
  • Subscribe to premium plans to access advanced features (via Stripe).
  • Post and manage content, including service photos and descriptions.

Handiers does not mediate payments or service contracts between Pros and customers. You are solely responsible for your own business operations, pricing, and service delivery.

4. Pro Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

  • All information you provide is true, accurate, and not misleading.
  • You possess any required licenses, permits, or insurance for your services.
  • You comply with all applicable laws, including labor, tax, and safety regulations.
  • You maintain professional conduct in all interactions with customers.

5. Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of the content (photos, descriptions, portfolio materials) you post on Handiers. However, by uploading or publishing such content, you grant Handiers a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content for promotional or operational purposes.
You may not upload or share content that is false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, violent, or inappropriate.

7. Communications and Messaging

The Handiers Pro App provides chat, phone, and SMS communication tools powered by Twilio. You consent to receive messages from customers and from Handiers regarding your account and service updates.
You must not use communication tools to spam, harass, or send fraudulent content. Handiers may monitor communications to prevent abuse and ensure safety.

8. Portfolio and Public Representation

Pros can upload service photos, descriptions, and portfolios that are visible to customers. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your portfolio content is authentic, lawful, and representative of your actual work.
Misleading, plagiarized, or fraudulent portfolio materials may lead to removal or account suspension.

9. Community Conduct and Ethical Standards

All Pros must adhere to Handiers’ ethical standards:

  1. Provide honest, high-quality service to customers.
  2. Treat all users with respect and professionalism.
  3. Avoid discrimination, harassment, or hate speech.
  4. Do not post explicit, violent, or misleading content.
  5. Use the platform only for lawful and ethical business purposes.

Violation of these standards may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

10. Moderation, Reporting, and Enforcement

Handiers reserves the right to review and remove any Pro content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may:

  • Delete inaccurate or harmful content.
  • Suspend or terminate Pro accounts engaged in fraud or harassment.
  • Restrict access to messaging or posting features.

Customers and other users may report Pro misconduct through the in-app “Report” feature. Handiers reviews all valid reports in good faith.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with Stripe (payments), Twilio (communications), Firebase, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel. Use of these third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Handiers is not responsible for errors or issues arising from these external systems.
